The MTLA requires Officials for Minor Box Development League and Rep Games.
To referee during the the 2012 season, prospective officials must have been born in 1998 or earlier (2nd year Bantam) and be certified by the OLA.
To be certified, referees are required to attend the OLA Referee Clinics annually. To attend these clinics the applicants are responsible for payment of fees. However, once the course is complete and the required number of games have been reffed; then the MTLA will reimburse the clinic fee.
Please note, in the MTLA, referees will start in the Development League and be mentored by more experienced referees . Those who show clear dedication and competency may be chosen to referee at the Rep level.
