Improving Lacrosse Stick Skills - Wall Ball

“If you really want to improve as a player, you have to hit the wall and get your stick skills up to par.”

Players have to be able to confidently and flawlessly handle the ball if they plan on taking their game to the next level.  Wall ball makes you a more dedicated player, but it also improves every aspect of your stick skills, including your ability to pass, shoot, and cradle the ball with either hand.

Bring your child to tryout for the Mississauga Tomahawks Paperweight Timbit All Start Team

Is your 5-6 year old enjoying his lacrosse experience? Do you think a more competitive level of play would appeal to your family? Would you like to let your child experience a rep sport for the first time in their young life?

Paperweights are having tryouts:

  • Date: Friday, May 11 and Friday May, 18.
  • Location: Clarkson Arena
  • Time: 7pm
  • Open to players year of birth: 2006 and 2007

Jason Spezza (Ottawa Senators), John Tavares (New York Islanders) and Matt Moulson (New York Islanders) played for the Mississauga Tomahawks.

Ryan Strome a 2011 Canada National Junior Team player and the 5th overall NHL draft pick last year, played minor lacrosse in Mississauga.

Mississauga's Hall of Fame recogizes many people who have played or helped build Lacrosse in Mississauga.
